Issue Summary
The administrator password for Wisenet Viewer is lost and needs to be reset. This article provides instructions for resetting a lost password on a Mac. These instructions are for the Apple M series products. For Intel-based Macs, Google finding the hidden directories on End of Life Apple products.
Resolution
To reset the password:
- From the Mac desktop, select Finder and then Applications.
- Click the Go menu in the Finder menu bar.
- Select Go to Folder.
- In the dialog box that appears, enter ~/Library.
- Navigate to Application Support > Hanwha Vision > WisenetViewer.
- Remove the management.sqlite file.
- Relaunch the Wisenet Viewer.
This is now a blank copy of Wisenet Viewer.
- Set up the connection to the recorder along with any other settings you may have had.
