Roles in OnCloud
A role in OnCloud gives you permission to do certain things. OnCloud has two default roles: administrator and user. Some organizations also create roles with custom permissions. All accounts have a role.
Administrator Role
If you are an administrator, you can:
- Access all cameras and incidents
- Create and delete accounts
- Change settings for the organization
NOTE: If you see the building icon at the top right in OnCloud,
you have an administrator account:
User Role
If you are a user, you can:
- Access cameras for selected locations and areas
- Edit your own profile
Custom Roles
If you have a custom role:
- Your permissions depend on your organization's setup
