Summary
This article details the steps to integrate Hanwha IP cameras with Immix using SUNAPI. This article is for NVR and direct camera integration.
Setting up Ports in Immix and Hanwha IP Cameras
To begin the integration, ensure the ports setup in Immix and the Camera are the same.
NOTE: These are default ports only (they can be configured and may be
different to what is listed).

Where to change the ports in the camera:
- Open a browser and enter the IP address of the camera.
- Log in to the Hanwha IP camera.
- Select Setup > Basic > IP & Port > Port.
The ports needed by the integration appear.
- The RTSP port must be forwarded for API access.
Adding Users in IP Camera for Immix Integration
To add users:
- Select Setup > Basic > User.
- Click Add, and ensure that the user is a type of administrator or has full permissions.
NOTE: Users without full permissions might experience issues.
- Select the checkbox under Use to enable the next available Current User.
- Assign a name, password, and appropriate permissions.

Video Profile
The integration has capabilities to switch between different video profiles. H264 must be the codec for the profile to be used for the integration. To switch between profiles:
- Select Setup > Basic > Video Profile.
- Check the Enable checkbox at Audio In.
- Click Apply to save changes for the selected profile.
Configuring Email
To configure the camera’s email for Immix:
- Log into Immix.
- Select Setup > Edit Sites > Customer >Site.
- In the Site Actions for Site_Name pane on the right, select View Summary. A report is generated.
- Note the recipient and sender addresses: S#.a#.e#@immixalarms.com. For example: s29.a1.e21@immixalarms.com
S# - represents the ServerID.
A# - represents the Input of Response.
E# - represents the Event Number associated with the Server Type,
e21 is defaulted to IPC Object Detection.
IP Camera Email Settings
To set up the email settings:
- Log into the camera and navigate to the email section under Event > FTP/Email.
- Click Apply to apply the settings in the camera.
Configuring a Hanwha IP Camera Event Rule
To configure the system-based events into Immix:
- Log into the Hanwha IP Camera device.
- Select Setup > Event > Event Rule. Users may configure an action for each event type.
- Click Add to create a new rule for the event type.
- Assign a name to the Rule, then click anywhere in the +Add pane.
- In the Event Actions Settings area, select the E-mail checkbox.
- Confirm the Activation Time is Always and click OK.
Configuring Devices within Immix
To configure a device within Immix:
- Log in to Immix with username and password.
- Navigate to Device Details.
- Enter information into Device Details (see example below).
Host - The public address of the IP Camera
Port - The http port of the IP Camera
User - Username configured in IP Camera
Password - Password configured in IP Camera
RTSP Port - The RTSP Port configured in IP Camera - Click Done.
