Summary
This article provides instructions for how to integrate and manage WAVE systems with HealthPro.
Integrating HealthPro
Existing WAVE Sync Account
To remove an existing WAVE Sync account attached to your HealthPro:
-
In Cloud Portal, navigate to HealthPro.
-
In the navigation panel on the left side of the screen, click the Settings icon, then select Devices > WAVE Sync.
- Log out of your WAVE Sync account.
Existing HealthPro Bridge
If you have an existing HealthPro Bridge managing cameras independently and in parallel with a WAVE recorder, they must be removed from the system first.
To remove the cameras:
-
In Cloud Portal, navigate to HealthPro.
-
In the navigation panel on the left side of the screen, click the Settings icon, then select Devices > Cloud Portal.
- Check the box next to the HealthPro Bridge camera(s) from HealthPro and click Unclaim.
- Click Remove Device from Organization for each HealthPro Bridge camera.
Integrating HealthPro Bridge
To integrate HealthPro Bridge to a WAVE recorder:
- If necessary, download HealthPro Bridge from the HealthPro Bridge software page and install it on a Windows machine, typically your WAVE recorder. If you already have v1.1.18, it automatically updates overnight.
- If necessary, configure HealthPro Bridge with the Organization information in Cloud Portal, and onboard the HealthPro Bridge into Cloud Portal. If you already have an operational HealthPro Bridge, it is already onboarded within Cloud Portal.
-
In HealthPro Bridge, scan the network and add the WAVE server (v5 or later) to Cloud Portal.
NOTE: At this point, there is no further work to be done within HealthPro Bridge, everything else is done in the cloud. This is important for those who need VPN access or be physically on-site to gain network access.
- In Cloud Portal Devices, find your HealthPro Bridge and click Scan Network.
- Click the WAVE server to add (onboard) it to Cloud Portal.
- In Cloud Portal Devices, find and expand your HealthPro Bridge, select the WAVE server, then click Scan Network.
- Select the cameras to be added (onboarded) to Cloud Portal.
HealthPro Bridge, the WAVE server, and its cameras should now be fully onboarded and visible within Cloud Portal.
- Claim the WAVE server and its cameras in HealthPro.
Basic camera health monitoring can now be performed, even without a license.
- Attach a HealthPro license to each camera for more comprehensive monitoring and management.
- Multi-sensor cameras require one license per device.
- A license is not required for monitoring a WAVE server.
- Only HealthPro Bridge-compatible cameras may be added.
- These are Hanwha Vision devices that are Wisenet 5 or newer, use SUNAPI 2.6.0 or newer.
- It now also includes AXIS devices that are VAPIX v1.0 or newer and i-PRO CGI v1.14 or newer cameras (compatibility testing is strongly recommended for each model).
- A total of 200 devices may be added to each HealthPro Bridge. This total is the sum of the number of WAVE servers and cameras.
- Multi-sensor cameras require one license per device.
NOTES: If the HealthPro Bridge and WAVE sub-cameras are not on the same network or cannot be accessed directly from HealthPro Bridge, the correct serial information of the camera cannot be obtained. Thus, warranty information cannot be displayed in the warranty dashboard. Installing HealthPro Bridge on the WAVE server may degrade the performance of HealthPro Bridge. Installing HealthPro Bridge on the WAVE appliance may also cause HealthPro Bridge to not work properly depending on the OS and WAVE version on the machine. If a user changes the server and camera names in WAVE, the WAVE device names in
HealthPro are automatically changed. The reverse path (HealthPro to WAVE) will
not work. If a device is added to WAVE, search for it in the portal's Devices Management menu and claim it to the portal with the Scan Network function. Then, re-claim the device
to HealthPro.
