There is a bug in our recently released 6.0.1.20221 build for customers running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Wave 5.1X attempting to upgrade to the current 6.0.1.40221 release. These customers are experiencing a failure in the Wave media server.
Resolution
To resolve the mediaserver no longer running when you have upgraded to the 6.0.1.40221 release build from a 5.1.X build on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS:
- Issue the following commands in the terminal:
sudo systemctl start hanwha-mediaserversudo systemctl enable hanwha-mediaserver
- Reboot the server.
- Confirm that the mediaserver is running by opening the WAVE client and connecting to the server.
