Google has notified Hanwha that their policy does not allow applications that connect to clients using self-signed certificates. However, Hanwha cameras are set to communicate via HTTPS by default, which requires a certificate. Since embedded devices such as cameras generate their own certificates, some users may get the following message when trying to download the Wisenet Installation app from the Google Play Store: This app isn’t available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android.
Temporary Resolution
We are currently working with Google to review the submission again. In the meantime, you can download the Android APK to install on your phone.
