This article provides information on how to attach a license to an OnCloud camera.
Attaching a License
Before starting the steps in this article, follow the instructions in OnCloud: How do I license my cameras? to add the license to the organization.
To attach a license:
- In OnCloud, click the Building icon in the top right to start your dashboard.
- Navigate to the device list and locate the device to license.
- In the Devices section, click Manage.
- Click anywhere in the white space to go to the device settings.
- Click Licenses > Attach New License.
- Select the radio button for the Edge Recording license.
NOTE: Be sure the activation date is your desired start date.
This is typically the same day. - Click Confirm.
