Issue Summary
When WAVE-AI Plugin v2024.2.7 is installed on the PNM-C32084RQZ-8XE4T-W Jetson camera, the analytics features do not appear under WAVE-AI. This article provides instructions for applying a patch to resolve the issue.
NOTE: Future versions of WAVE-AI Plugin, such as v2024.2.8 and above, will not exhibit this issue.
Resolution
To resolve the issue:
- Power on the PNM-C32084RQZ-8XE4T-W camera and ensure it is connected to the internet.
- Open browser and enter the IP address of the camera with port 9090.
For example: http://<ipaddress>:9090
- Log in using the Jetson camera default credentials as the User name and Password (nvidia/nvidia).
The Cockpit application will open on the Ubuntu side of the camera.
- In the navigation tree on the left, click Terminal.
- Run the following command to patch the plugin:
curl -sqko - https://get.cvedia.com/wave-patch | sudo bash
- After the command completes, click Overview, then select Reboot from the drop-down menu.
- Open WAVE Client.
- Right-click the Hamburger icon, then click System Administration.
- Click the Plugins tab.
- In the Operating mode section, select Hi-res from the Profile drop-down menu and uncheck the box next to Enable hardware decoding.
- Click OK and close System Administration.
- Right-click the required camera, then click Camera Settings.
- Click the Plugins tab.
- Switch the WAVE AI toggle to ON.
All the supported analytics now show up.
