Summary
This article provides instructions for configuring Wisenet cameras to record to an SD card installed on the camera.
Configuring the SD Card
To record with the SD card:
- Install the SD Card (or cards) in the camera per the camera manual.
- Power on the camera.
- Enter the camera IP into a web browser.
- Click the Setup icon.
- Select Date & Time.
- Confirm that the correct time is displayed and the settings are correct. If not, synchronize the time and correct the settings for the time zone of the camera.
- Once the settings are complete, click Apply.
IMPORTANT: If the settings are not applied, the configuration will not change. - Click Video Profile.
- Select the profile to be recorded to the SD card or create a new profile.
- Configure the settings for that profile.
- Select the checkbox next to Record Profile.
- Update any Profile properties, as needed.
- Click Apply.
- Select Event > Storage.
- Select the SD card.
- Select On from the Record drop-down menu.
- Click Apply.
- Left-click Format to format the SD card.
- Select the Record Profile preferences using the drop-down menus.
- Select days to record if 24/7 continuous recording is not desired.
- Click Apply.
