Summary
This article provides an overview of using Cloud Gateway Appliance (CGA) with OnCloud.
Using CGA with OnCloud
Here is the high-level flow to go from scratch to viewing and recording CGA cameras in OnCloud:
- Power up the CGA device and connect it to a switch with simultaneous access to the cameras and the Internet.
- Configure the CGA’s network settings to connect it to the Internet.
- Configure the CGA’s CloudConnector app to connect it to your Hanwha Vision cloud organization.
- Log in to OnCloud.
- Onboard the CGA.
- Scan the CGA to find and add its cameras.
- License the cameras with OnCloud cloud recording licenses.
Since each new camera has a licensing grace period of 5 days, you will immediately have full OnCloud functionality of your cameras, including viewing, cloud-based recording, replaying, and exporting clips.
NOTE: A CGA device cannot simultaneously belong to two organizations.
If the CGA is still attached to a previous organization, it must first
be removed from that organization.
