How to use OnCloud to change basic CGA settings

Summary

This article details how to use OnCloud to change basic Cloud Gateway Appliance (CGA) settings.

Once a CGA is OnCloud, key parameters can conveniently be set within OnCloud. To use OnCloud to change the CGA settings:

Log in to OnCloud.
Navigate to the organization dashboard and click Devices > Manage.
Search for the CGA.
Click the Settings icon ( ) to show CGA Device Information. On this screen, you can rename the CGA, update its firmware, and change its location and time zone. You can also review key parameters including network settings.
Scroll down to see the option to use the CGA as a proxy, where you can also connect directly to the device as if you were on the local network.
Click on the Device Management tab. From this screen, you can download a diagnostics logfile, restart the CGA, perform a factory reset, reclaim it, or remove it from your organization. You can also configure the CGA to automatically update its own firmware.
