Setting up a RoadAI camera for use with WAVE
To set up a RoadAI camera for WAVE:
- Set up from the camera side.
Make sure you have a compatible camera that is running the Wisenet Road AI Open platform application with the latest firmware.
Wisenet Road AI app: v7.3200 or higher
WAVE build 6.0.3. xxxx or higher
Check the time and date, daylight savings, time zone, and NTP settings. It is recommended to sync the camera’s clock to the Wave server when enabled.
- From the RoadAI Open platform application, navigate to Camera Webpage > Setup > Open Platform > Go App.
- In the Settings menu, define the NVR parameters:
Enable Wave integration.
Enter Wave IP address, port, username and password.
Creating a Generic Event and Bookmark
Once the camera is registered to WAVE, LPR events and bookmarks are automatically activated in WAVE whenever the camera detects a license plate.
NOTE: The bookmark is very generic. Just a license plate number.
For a generic event with meta data, click the Events tab, then select Any Event or Generic Event from the list.
Creating an Event Rule
To create an event rule with black or white lists:
- Click LIST MANAGEMENT.
In the List settings section, the Black and White lists are displayed.
- In the Black section, enter a plate number in the Plate number field, then click Add.
NOTE: You can also import a complete list of license plates
by clicking the Import button and importing a CVS file.
Plates consist of 3-12 symbols. You cannot have any duplicate
plate numbers. You are limited to 2000 plate numbers per list. - Select No action from the Reaction 1 drop-down menu.
- In the White section, enter a plate number in the Plate number field, then click Add.
- Select Open barrier from the Reaction 1 drop-down menu.
NOTE: For Alarm Output (Open barrier) you need to program the
alarm output of the camera with an external relay and then
create an event rule. Refer to
How do I use Altronix RBSN-TTL with my Hanwha device? - To create an event rule, enter List then White or Black in the Description contains field (ex: List White). There should only be one rule for each event.
