Zenitel: How to create device event rules

Summary

To complete the configuration of your Zenitel device, a rule must be created within Wisenet WAVE to react to the usage of the device. This article explains how to create a device event rule.

Creating a Device Event Rule

To create a device event rule:

1. Log in to Wisenet WAVE with username and password.
   

   NOTE: Add the device as described Zenitel: How to add Zenitel devices, if necessary.

2. Right-click the Zenitel device in your Wisenet WAVE Client's Resource tree.
   
   
3. Select Camera Rules.
   
   
   
   
4. Click +Add to add a new event rule. 
   
   
   
   
5. In the When field, select Input Signal on Camera from the drop-down menu. 
   
   
   
   
6. Select the Zenitel device from the At drop-down menu. 
   
   
7. Select <automatic> from the Input ID drop-down menu. 
   
   
8. Select Show desktop notification from the Do drop-down menu. 
   
   
   
   
9. Select the User from the To drop-down menu. 
   
   
10. Click Apply.
