Summary
This article provides instructions for using OnCloud to manage firmware updates for Hanwha cameras. Administrator permissions are required to update the firmware.
NOTE: Cameras have both device firmware and CloudConnector firmware, and they are
managed separately.
Managing Firmware Updates
To manage firmware on a device:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to OnCloud.
- Click the Building icon at the top right to start your dashboard.
NOTE: If you do not see this icon, you do not have permission to view the dashboard.
- Click Manage.
This opens the list of camera hardware.
NOTE: Firmware updates are available for some devices. For more information,
see OnCloud: How do I update firmware? - In the list of camera hardware, find the device that you want to manage, then click the Gear icon.
- On the Device page, click Device Management.
- Scroll down to Firmware Update.

If a firmware update is available, update the firmware immediately by clicking Update Now.

To manage firmware updates, click the Auto Update Cloud Connector Firmware toggle or the Auto Update Device Firmware toggle.
NOTE: The order of updates does not matter.
- To schedule the Auto Update, select the Day and Time for the update.
