Enter a name, then click the checkmark
.
-
Click Edit Layout to add cameras.
-
To add cameras, select the checkboxes beside them.
NOTE: A layout can have up to 12 cameras.
-
Click Save Layout.
This opens the layout – in this case, named Los Gatos.
Customizing a Layout
To customize a layout:
- If a layout is not already open, click Cameras in the top menu.
- Click the name of a layout under My Layouts.
- To move a video stream to a new position, click and drag it.
- To resize the video stream, click to grab a corner and drag to the desired size.
NOTE: You cannot increase the size of a stream into a space that is occupied by
another video stream. You must first make room in the space by decreasing the
size of the stream that currently occupies it, then resize the video stream
you want to enlarge to expand into the space. - To add or remove cameras, click the three-dot menu, then Edit device list.
- Use the checkboxes to add or remove cameras, then click Save Layout.
NOTE: A layout automatically makes space when you add a camera. If you remove
a camera, the layout is rescaled. In both cases, the changed layout attempts
to adhere to the orientation of the original layout as much as possible.
Setting a Default Layout
If you have multiple camera layouts, select one of those layouts as the default. This layout appears on the Cameras page when you log in. To set a default layout:
- Click Cameras.
The left menu displays a list of the layouts under My Layouts.
- Click the appropriate layout to set as the default. Here, Los Gatos is selected.
- To make a layout the default, click the three-dot menu, then click Set as default.
- The flag icon appears next to the default.
The next time you log in, the Cameras page displays the Los Gatos layout.
-
To deselect a layout as the default, click the three-dot menu, then click Unset as default.
NOTE: You do not need to select a layout as default. If you do not
set a default layout, the full list of devices appears when you log in.
