Summary
This article provides instructions for using OnCloud to reset to the device to its original factory settings.
Resetting the Camera to Factory Settings
To reset the camera:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to OnCloud.

Click the Building icon at the top right.
NOTE: If you do not see this icon, you do not have
permission to view the dashboard. - In the Devices section, click Manage.
This opens the list of camera hardware.

Find the camera to reset, then click the Gear icon.
- On the Device Management page, click Factory Reset.
- Click Reset to Factory Default to begin the reset.

Reinstall the OnCloud firmware (see OnCloud: How do I update camera firmware?).
- After the OnCloud firmware is installed, on the Device Management page, click Reclaim Device.
NOTE: On the Device Information page, if the status remains as Claiming
for more than 5 minutes, restart the device, and then reclaim it.
