Summary
A layout can be used to see up to 12 cameras at once. This article explains how to use a layout.
Before starting, create a layout. To create and customize layouts, see OnCloud: How do I create and manage layouts?
Using Basic Controls
To use basic controls:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to OnCloud.

Click Cameras, then click the name of a layout under My Layouts to open it.

To pause the video for all cameras, click pause (
), then click again to play.

Click and drag the timeline to move forward and backward in time.
This updates the video for all cameras at once to review an incident from multiple angles. -
To show the video in full screen, click the expand button
.

To close the full-screen view, click the contract button
.

Click Go Live to show live video for all cameras.
The dots on the timeline are events, such as a person or vehicle moving.
Synchronizing Cameras
If a camera in your layout falls behind (is out of sync), click Synchronizing Cameras to reset all cameras to the same time.
NOTE: The availability of the Synchronize Now button indicates that a
camera is out of sync. If the cameras are all in sync, the Synchronize Cameras
button is unavailable.
NOTE: If synchronization fails, there may be an issue with the connection
between the viewer and the camera, such as network congestion or failure.
Selecting Dates and Times
To select dates and times:
- To show video for a certain date and time, click the calendar icon (
) above the timeline.
- Select a date and time, then click Apply.
- To change the scale of the timeline, click Mins. This button toggles between minutes, seconds, and days.
Saving Images
To save images from all cameras, click the camera ( ). An image from each camera is downloaded individually.
Viewing a Single Camera
To view a single camera:
- To see the name, location, area, and local time for a camera, move your mouse over a video feed.
- To open the details for a camera, double-click a video feed. You can do this to review all events for a camera and save clips.
