DesignPro: How to Set up the FoV in the Profile

Summary

This article describes how to configure the field of vision (FoV) for a given Profile, for example, multiple cameras mounted along a perimeter fence. 

Setting up the FoV Filter

To set up the FoV filter:

1. Log in to DesignPro.
   
   
2. Select Profile. 
   
   
3. Click on the profile in which to add a filter.
   
   
   
   

4. Enable the FoV filter.
   
   

    

5. Set the values for:

   Horizontal FoV

   Installation Height

   Target distance

   Tilt angle

   Density

   
6. Click on the specific chart option that matches your project.
   
   The options are Identification, Recognition, Observation, Detection, and Monitoring. Each show the image clarity in pixels per foot or meter density.
   

   NOTE: When you click on a selection, the filter only shows cameras on the 
   devices list when selected that provide the image clarity you select.
