WAVE: How to Use Hotspots

This article provides tips for using hotspots in WAVE.

Using Hotspots

Tips on using hotspots:

• To toggle the hotspot layer – use keyboard shortcut H or enable the Hotspots toggle
• To see a preview of the linked camera - hover your mouse over a hotspot
  
  
• To open the linked camera on the Viewing Grid - click the hotspot
  
  
• To open the hotspot Context Menu - right-click the hotspot, then select one of the following:
  
  Open Camera – use to see live video from the camera in WAVE
  Open Camera in a new Tab – use to open a new tab
  Open Camera in place – use to open the camera on the same layout window (or shift + left-click on the hotspot)
