Genetec: How to View Analytic Events in Security Desk

This article describes how to view analytic events in Security Desk in Genetec. 

Viewing Analytic Events

To view analytic events:

1. Log in to Security Desk. 
   
   
2. Select Options > Events.
   
   
3. Select the Events to be monitored.
   

   NOTE: The name of the event assigned by Hanwha and the name in Genetec
   do not always match.

   
4. Open a Monitoring tab and drag down the top to expose the Event Monitoring.
   
   
5. Click Monitoring in the bottom left corner of the client.
   
   
6. Open a monitoring tab.
   
   
7. Click the monitoring link in the bottom left corner.
   
   
8. Click the green plus icon to add a device or devices. 
   
   
   
   Events appear in the Monitoring section.
