Avigilon: Troubleshooting Tips

This article provides troubleshooting tips for Avigilon.

Ensure the camera is on the same local network and not across VLANs or routed networks.
If you have an older multi-sensor, try changing Profile 1 from MJPEG to H264 and lower the resolution to 1920x1080 before connecting to Avigilon.
An error could occur because the camera/device is not supported by Avigilon, such as an NVR or the AIB-800 box.
Make sure cameras are running the latest version of firmware and Avigilon is updated to the latest version.
