Summary
This article explains how to control data access to locations and sub-devices based on custom roles within your organization.
Setting User Roles and Location Permissions
To set the user roles and location permissions:
- In Cloud Portal, navigate to HealthPro.
- Select Users > Roles.
- Select the + icon.
- In the Permissions tab, select either Manager or Engineer for the menu access permissions available to the custom role.

In the Locations tab, select the locations the custom role can access. By default, all locations are disabled.
NOTE: Location access control significantly impacts HealthPro performance,
so use it only when absolutely necessary. When using location access control,
we can ensure normal performance in organizations with fewer than 300
registered locations. - Once all settings are complete, click Apply.
- Navigate to the Users menu and assign the custom role you just created to a user.
