Summary
The Super Admin role is the highest level of authority within an organization. This feature allows the current Customer or Partner Super Admin to transfer this critical role to another Active Administrator.
- Eligibility: Only the current Customer Super Admin or Partner Super Admin can perform this transfer.
- Designation: Only a currently Active Customer or Partner Admin can be designated as the new Super Admin.
- Account Type: The Admin to be assigned Super Admin must be a Hanwha Account. An LDAP Account cannot be designated as Super Admin.

Role Change:
- The new Super Admin's role is upgraded from Admin to Super Admin.
- The old Super Admin's role is automatically downgraded to Admin.
This article provides instructions for the Customer/Partner Super Admin to transfer their Super Admin role to another Administrator within the organization. This feature is essential when the current Super Admin leaves the organization or needs to delegate ownership.
Transferring the Super Admin Role
To transfer your Super Admin role to another Admin:
- Log in to your Cloud Portal account as the current Super Admin.
- Click Users.
NOTE: If you are in partner ORG, on the main navigation bar,
click STEP partner users.
- Locate the Admin user to transfer the role to and click on their row.
An Edit user pop-up appears.
NOTE: If you are in a partner ORG, click '...' > Edit tech.
- In the Role drop-down list, select Super administrator.
- Click Apply.
- Confirm the transfer.
