Summary
This article explains how to add a new Customer Organization using the Add organization feature while logged in, and outlines associated limitations.
Accessing the Add Organization Function
Customer Super Admins (CSA), Customer Admins (CA), and Customer Users (CU) can add new Customer organizations. This function is not available to Installers.
To access the Add Organization function:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Open the Organization pop-up in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Click My organizations.
- Click Add organization.
Creating an Organization
To create an organization:
- Enter the new organization details in the pop-up:
• Account Information (Read-only):
o The First Name, Last Name, and E-mail fields are automatically populated with the currently logged-in user's information and cannot be modified (Read-only).
• Organization Information:
o Enter required details such as Organization Name, Organization Short Name, Address, and Time Zone.
o Organization Short Name must be between 6 and 12 characters and contain no special characters.
o Address: You must enter an address by selecting one of the suggested values provided by Google Autocomplete.
o Time Zone: This is automatically set based on the entered Address. Users can manually override the automatically set value afterward.
- Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and check the agreement box, then click OK.
- Verify the entered information and click OK. You are automatically be assigned the Customer Super Administrator (CSA) role for this new organization.
The new Customer ORG has been added on the My organization page.
Organization Creation Limit
A single Hanwha Account can belong to a maximum of 50 Customer Organizations. This limit includes both customer ORGs you add yourself and customer ORGs to which you are invited.
If you are currently affiliated with 50 organizations and attempt to click Add organization, the creation process will not be performed.
