How to add Text-to-Speech (.tts) files to Hanwha IP Speaker

Summary

This article describes how to add Text-to-Speech (.tts) files to a Hanwha IP speaker. 

Adding Text-to-Speech Files

To add text-to-speech files:

1. Log in to the IP speaker.
2. Navigate to Environment Settings > Device Operation Setting.
   
   
3. Set Operation Mode to Speaker.
4. Click Apply.
5. Select Operation Setting > TTS File Management.
   
   
    
6. Enter the Text for TTS.
7. Select Start Chime and End Chime.
8. Click Preview to check the text-to-speech.
9. Click Save.
   The newly added TTS file will show up in right hand side under TTS file list.
   
   
10. Under the TTS File list, click the number for the TTS file to play in the local workstation.

Adding the tts File as .WAVE File

To add the tts file as a .WAV file to Source File Management:

1. Under TTS File list, select the checkbox at the end of the row for the appropriate TTS file.
2. Click To BDM.
   A corresponding .WAV file is added to the Source File Management/Source File List.
